How much is my gold worth?
To work out how much your gold is worth, we look at the spot price quoted on international markets.
Your gold is valued according to its carat (or purity) and then compared against the daily international gold price. The carat is the measure of gold purity. 24 carat is the purest form of gold, with 99.9% of the mass being gold. Since pure gold is very soft and malleable, however, gold is commonly mixed with other metals like copper which reduces the softness, but mars the purity. The higher the gold content the higher the value of gold will be.
Gold has risen significantly in value in the past ten years, so you may be surprised at just how much Assetline can offer you as a loan against your gold bullion or jewellery.
